Essential protocols regarding access, transactional security, and platform architecture on Nexus Darknet Market.
Platform & Access
Nexus Darknet Market is a premier decentralized trading platform engineered for anonymity and security. Launched in late 2023, we provide a robust infrastructure for the exchange of digital and physical goods. Key features include a walletless "Direct-Pay" system, support for Bitcoin (BTC), Monero (XMR), and Litecoin (LTC), and a strict escrow protocol to ensure transactional integrity without centralized wallet risks.
Nexus operates as a Tor Hidden Service accessed via .onion links. This architecture routes traffic through multiple encrypted nodes within the Tor network, masking the IP addresses of both the server and the client. This ensures that metadata and location data remain obfuscated, providing a layer of anonymity required for secure darknet operations.
Access requires the Tor Browser (latest stable build). Navigate to our primary address: rmnvwgxnat4m4o6whqvh6dy7fhnasxa6cndufyrztgahtxwdhgr7thid.onion. We strongly advise against using standard browsers or proxy gateways. For optimal OpSec, configure your Tor security slider to "Safer" or "Safest" (disabling JavaScript) and verify the URL matches our cryptographically signed mirror list.
Registration is open and requires no invite code. Users must generate a unique username, a strong alphanumeric password, and a 6-digit PIN for withdrawal authorization. Post-registration, you must upload a PGP public key to enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA). Accounts without PGP keys are restricted from vendor interactions to maintain platform hygiene.
Security & Encryption
Server identity verification is mandatory for security. Import the official Nexus Market PGP public key into your GPG keychain. Upon reaching the login page, copy the PGP-signed message presented and verify it against our key. A successful verification confirms you are connected to the authentic Nexus infrastructure and not a malicious interceptor.
Nexus employs a defense-in-depth strategy. This includes enforced PGP 2FA for account access, end-to-end encryption for delivery details (auto-encrypt supported), and a walletless payment structure that minimizes hot wallet exposure. We do not store chat logs older than 30 days and scrub exif data from all uploaded images automatically.
Navigate to "Account Settings" > "Security". Paste your ASCII-armored PGP Public Key. The system will generate an encrypted challenge block. Decrypt this block using your private key and paste the resulting code to confirm ownership. Once verified, enable "2FA on Login". This renders password compromise ineffective without the corresponding PGP private key.
Financial & Escrow
Nexus Market supports a multi-chain environment: Bitcoin (BTC) for liquidity, Litecoin (LTC) for speed, and Monero (XMR) for privacy. We strongly recommend Monero due to its RingCT and stealth address technologies, which obfuscate transaction history on the blockchain. Both traditional deposit wallets and per-order direct payments are supported.
Standard orders utilize a secure Escrow system where funds are held in a multisig vault until the buyer confirms delivery. Escrow auto-release timers vary from 7 to 14 days based on shipping class. Funds are only released when the buyer finalizes the order or the timer expires without a dispute. This mechanism protects buyers from vendor non-delivery.
We maintain a competitive fee schedule: 0% fee on all incoming deposits. Withdrawals incur a flat 1% network and mixing fee to ensure transactional privacy. The minimum withdrawal threshold is set at $3 USD equivalent. Funds typically confirm within 2-3 network blocks (approx. 30 minutes).
Finalize Early (FE) is a privilege reserved for vendors with high reputation and volume metrics. For FE orders, funds are released to the vendor immediately upon shipment dispatch, rather than upon delivery. This reduces vendor currency risk. Buyers should only transact via FE with vendors they have personally vetted or who have substantial positive feedback.
Vendors & Disputes
Nexus Market operates on a meritocratic entry system. We have waived the traditional $500+ vendor bond to lower the barrier for skilled vendors. Instead, we enforce a rigorous vetting process examining cross-market reputation (Recon/Dread), PGP identity proofs, and inventory verification. This ensures quality control without financial gatekeeping.
Disputes can be initiated if an order is not received or fails to match the listing description. The dispute window opens 24 hours after the auto-finalize timer expires. Both parties enter a mediated chat to provide evidence (tracking logs, photos). If no resolution is reached, a Nexus moderator reviews the case and adjudicates the payout split based on established evidence.
Strict prohibitions are enforced to ensure platform longevity. Banned categories include: Fentanyl and related analogues, Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), weaponry/explosives, poisons/toxins, and murder-for-hire services. Violations result in immediate account termination and permanent blacklisting of associated keys.
Technical & Network
The Tor network is subject to latency and DDoS events. If the main onion link is unresponsive, utilize our rotating mirror list available on the "Links" page. Our backend infrastructure utilizes load balancing across multiple hidden service descriptors to maintain uptime. Ensure your Tor client clock is synchronized to prevent connection circuit errors.
Support is available 24/7 via the ticketing system located in your user dashboard. For pre-sales inquiries or account lockout issues, refer to the contact details on the "Contact" page. Our support team typically resolves tickets within 24 hours. Do not use external email services for sensitive communications.
